Fire Cue

This place was a real find. Visiting from Sydney we had high expectations. The owner greeted us with much enthusiasm, all following staff were genuine and friendly. Ceviche was outstanding as were the burnt carrots. Family and kid friendly too. Fire Cue Bar & Grill was a wonderful delight. Every plate on our large party table was left bare and we all left stuffed full of delicious food and tickled with the friendly service. Open in Sydney so I can eat here again 👌🏻

Let me start by saying the flavours of the food was weird but extremely good. Portion to price ratio however is a joke, very small and high price, even on discounted rib night. The staff were lovely but felt like they were trying too hard when speaking with a guest. Decor was great but the restaurant was small and it got very hot. Definitely the best ribs on the goldcoast but wont be coming back unfortunately.

Service was excellent - responsive without being rushed. Atmosphere vibrant and alive. Fabulous food, made for sharing. The entre of chicken wings was a delight, and the main course ribs, sensational. Loved the Spanish Potatoes. We had a 7 year old with us, who utterly demolished the Bambino serve of fish and chips. The tasting plate for dessert was an excellent choice!
