The Commodore

My husband and I recently discovered this gem. We live close by and have spent many Friday or Saturday nights at The Commodore in the past couple months. Great atmosphere, remarkable vocalists, fantastic bar bites, well-crafted cocktails, and some very amazing service from wonderful and warm people: Stephanie, Mario, Erika, and Christian. There’s also a really nice patio, also with a great atmosphere, lots of plants, and comfortable seating. It’s a space where you can even enjoy a cigar too (they have a nice selection for purchase). Love this place!

This is a real classy lounge. Soft music, dim lights, comfortable chairs, the works. There's a TV by the bar so you can still catch a game. The mixologists behind the bar are mixing perfect concoctions. Happy hour specials daily include some light bites and great drinks. Ran into a celebrity while hanging with some friends. This is the caliber bar this place is.

Amazing place and incredibly skilled staff. My boyfriend and I were in town for a week for my best friends wedding, and we were on the hunt for a good cocktail bar in coconut grove to take the bridal party a few nights beforehand. We came in to scope the place out, and we ordered a daiquiri (a go to drink for me to see if the bar can do classics properly) and a flip (a less commonly ordered drink). Kevin, the bartender for the evening made them both with skill and precision (and a little flare as well) and we were both very impressed. We stayed and sat at the bar and struck up a conversation with Kevin, explaining the purpose of the visit. I was worried that the large reservation I needed was going to be too last minute, but he assured me that it wouldn’t be a problem. He was friendly, a great multitasker, and a wonderfully informed mixologist who made our experience unforgettable. We came back with the bridal party and everyone had an amazing time with incredible service. Also the live music on both nights was amazing! I wish I had more time to go back and enjoy the place again, and if I find myself in Miami I will definitely bee back. Thank you again to Kevin, you’re a legend and you made our trip. This place is a must for a tasteful experience in Coconut Grove.
