1st time here, we had 1 Potatoe,
1 Bean & cheese, and 1 artichoke, mushroom, spinach empanadas. All were yummy, and my husband wasn't fond of the potatoe empanada. The house margaritas 🍹 yummy!

Wow! Empanadas live up to the hype. I had the chicken and el capital which are amazing! Highly recommend this place. Also love that they have a large open patio with misters.
UPDATE: Got arroz con pollo to go and it’s amazing!!! Comes topped with fresh avocado.

Food was so good that my suegra a Costa Rica native asked for 3 orders to go she almost cried and said this is authentic true Pura Vida comida. Go get you some real Latino food by real local people.

Looking at the place from the outside, you wouldn’t think much of it. It’s definitely a dive, but looks can be deceiving.
As the restaurant name implies they serve various types of empanadas. You can’t really go wrong here, everything is good. The empanadas are small so you order two or three and can try different fillings.
I highly recommend stopping by.

How have I lived in Mesa for 5 years and never have been here! This little hidden gem is out of this world! Two thumbs up and 10 out of 10! Try the Jalapeño Ham Popper empanada and for desert the Dizzy Fig! You won’t be disappointed, I guarantee it! I will be back over and over again! Already craving another one!
