Avis sur Pitstop

I attended my two sisters Company Barbecue Party today in Laurelton NY The food was catered by The Pitstop which my sister said they use all the time for their catering events I had the pasta salad , potato salad , a piece of fried chicken, grilled vegetables and a Turkey Burger. All of the food was delicious but what was the most Awesome to me was their Turkey burger It look just like a plain Turkey burger on a plain bun but let me tell you this was THE BEST Turkey burger I EVER tasted Usually Turkey burgers are plain and dry Not this one, it was grilled to perfection and so moist inside I did not even need ketchup or any condiment on it I wish I took another one!!! Thank you Pitstop for my first experience trying your food and again Awesome Turkey Burgers!!!!

Feels silly calling the pit stop a hidden gem when it’s been featured on the food network, but that’s exactly what it is. From the outside it looks like an unassuming burger joint, but stepping inside its quickly apparent there’s so much more going on. We started with the sides of their delicious house made soup along with a fresh summer salad. A delicious clam chowder and probably the best butternut squash soup I’ve ever had. Split a simple yet perfectly done steak sandwich as well as some phenomenal brisket tacos that were on special. The homemade sauces perfectly complimented the delicious tacos. These should be added to the menu IMO. After hearing another table raving over the homemade coconut cream cheese cake we forced ourselves to order that and an apple turnover. OMG THE BEST COCONUT CHEESECAKE I have ever tasted. I will travel just for another slice of that delicious cake. Oh and the whole time the owner Tony was popping over to each table with a familiar greeting or a quick witted one liner checking on everyone. There’s no wonder this spot has been open and serving the local community 20+ years. A true discover yet still somehow hidden gem!!!!!!

The place was featured on diners, drive-ins and dives so of course you have to try it if the mayor of flavor town recommends it. The food is traditional American fare and man does it taste good. Unfortunately the place is in dire need of a remodel, the floors are old and dirty, the doors are open so bugs can fly in and the seats are uncomfortable. The staff is friendly and the food is awesome for a fair price but please freshen up the place .

Even though this place has been around for a while I only just recently found out about this gem. It was on food networks diners, drive ins and dives and has a ton of other amazing accolades to their name. Their menu is extensive and everything I try on there is better than the last thing. If your looking for a hot dog, cheeseburger or something else a little more gourmet they have it all. They also have amazing prices. Don't forget to try their milkshake too if you go.

Wanted to try a new place, so I stopped by pitstop. This place brings an old school feel with it's decor. The counter person was very nice and polite. I ordered some spicy wings and fries which were great. The wings were seasoned well all the way through. I would recommend you stop by and try them out. They also have fresh cooked food here as well, with the chefs right where you can see them working. Very nice place.
