This was the best lunch spot. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. The food was fantastic! I got the vegetable plate and I can't pick a favorite, but I have to say that the fried green tomatoes were outstanding! The best I have had in a while. Then I had to top it off with dessert, homemade lemon icebox pie.

We had a wonderful lunch at Jean's today! I have been wanting to eat here for awhile and am so glad we made a point to stop in on our vacation. The fried pork chop was perfect, tasty greens, and very good fried green tomatoes. The chocolate pie was right up there with my mamas. The restaurant is beautiful and our waitress was excellent. We will be back for sure!

Really good food! Looks so nice inside, I thought the prices would be high, but they are not. Delicious pie, great flavored Mac n cheese

From the hostess to the server to the busboy, all were courteous, friendly and efficient. We felt welcomed and fêted. Haley was especially welcoming as our server. The portions were a bit too big for a light travelers lunch but the food was fantastic! We didn’t finish our burgers but we did finish the lemon ice box pie!

Best roasted chicken I’ve had in years. From the hostess to the wait staff & busser & kitchen staff, everyone was working together to take care of their customers. Friendly staff & efficient service & such tasty food! You gotta try the Mac & Cheese!

I love that the owners of Jean's are willing to host meetings here. Everytime I come, I find the interior more charming than the last time. I need to get myself back there to eat & not meet.

Not sure how it is possible for Jean's to have anything but a five star rating. If you like southern hospitality and southern food - this is the spot. the chef leaves the level of Heat - read hot sauce (many selections) to the guest.. The Pimento Cheese sandwich with bacon is a work of art. Save room for dessert.
