Found a piece of plastic in our veggie burrito. Shift manager said he recognized it as a piece of the tomato chopper! He offered us an extra veggie burrito… I mean the burritos were great, minus the mechanical foreign objects of course

I love Taco Time. I’ve been going since I was a kid and I’ve always thought it was a step up from Taco Bell and similar fast food places. This location however, is truly and consistently terrible. Bad service, grumpy employees, items wrong and shortcuts in preparation are taken which effect food quality.
HOWEVER. The overland location near Edwards theatre is a 5 star location!! Seriously It must be different management and employees because the food quality and service are better in every way. Taco Time is still a great place to eat just come to the right location.

Had the crispy, bean burrito because the 99¢ price lied me in. They tasted just like they used to 35+ years ago. Tiny tube of beans with a lot of shell. If you like fried shells, you'll love them!

I use to love Taco Time! Unfortunately it isn't as good as it used to be. The burritos and soft tacos are about half the size and I never get the extra cheese that I am charged for. Just seems way too expensive for what you get. Its a real bummer!

Used to be my favorite place to eat despite having messed up multiple times with coating empandas with salt instead of sugar. But today is the final straw. I chipped my tooth (back molar) on a rock in my bean burrito. Do NOT recommend. Better off getting Taco Bell and Tangos Empandas

Ive been going to this taco time location for about 10 years and it was better than any taco fast food place I had ever tried until about 3 years ago. The owner must have changed because the staff became real grumpy you could tell they didnt want to be their and they started to become very rude. They stopped offering weekly specials and also they used to offer free cinnamon crustos with a purchase over 20 dollars. Well this all stopped. They started limiting sauces like ranch, first to 2 sauces per person then to 1 and now you can only get ranch if you order a taco salad. Not to mention that the prices started to sky rocket. now you cant even get a cup of water with out having to pay 11 cents. I would never reccomend going to this location nor will i ever go there again, if i could leave a 0 star review i would.

I like tacos. Used to get free cinnamon crustos for 10 dollar plus purchase. Not sure what happened to that?

Angst teen drama is the theme here. All young workers around 15 except for the supervisor who is 17. The place is basically clean but had plenty of clutter from customer usage, straw wrappers, cup lids and over flowed ketchup/hot sauce.
However, the food is fresh, hot and they really fill the burritos. The soda is cold and has that extra syrup that makes it good.
The cashier was in her second day and was a bit slow as a few customers grumbled. But she was friendly, accurate and knew how to run the register. She is a rock star and had a smile while the remaining staff looked like their bf was caught at the food court with a cheerleader. You were awesome second day girl! This place is worth a visit cause they get the food/drink right.
