Dante's

Dante’s is a quaint, authentic Italian restaurant. I had a very satisfying meal and lovely experience overall. For appetizers, I really enjoyed the polpetti parm and the rice balls. The polpetti parm consisted of stuffed meatballs with cheese in a special sauce. I also ordered the fried rice balls, which also tasted very good. For my entree, I ordered the traditional chicken parmigiana over spaghetti, which was tender and well-prepared. Needless to say I left very full! The waiter was also funny, the prices weren’t bad, and the atmosphere was pleasant. This is the place to go for a good Italian dinner.

Had my daughter bridal shower and it was amazing! I got calls and texts for days about how fabulous the food was. The food was all excellent and plentiful. Everyone raved about their meals and took home leftovers. The service was amazing. Lisa, the owner, did an incredible job making sure everyone was well taken care of. It was an amazing day! If you are looking for a special event space check them out!!

I primarily go to Dante's for take out pizza. Which is spectacular. Occasionally, I go here for a sit-down meal. The inside restaurant is lovely. Old school Italian setting and being Italian, I just love it. The food is great, and the service is spectacular. They are also quite willing and very good at taking care of a vegetarian diet.

What a great night out. The family style restaurant was exactly what we were looking for. The food was delicious, service was on point and I think you'll find as we did a difficult decision to make when ordering, the menu is enticing enough you want a bit of everything. If you have a taste for Italian and want to keep it quaint and cozy, grab your favorite veno and head over to Dante's.

I was looking for an Italian restaurant that we haven't tried yet for my wife and I to celebrate our 9-year anniversary. My parents suggested Dante's and let me tell you, we were not disappointed! First off it's a BYOB so we decided to bring a bottle of Italian red wine from one of favorite places we visited in Italy. We sat in their new outside dining area and it was really nice. One of the owners, Tony, came over to great us and we chatted for a bit. Extremely nice guy and we loved talking with him. Our waiter Tyler was quick, courteous, and very friendly. We ordered the rice balls for an appetizer, my wife had the salmon, and I had the pollo casa. We finished up with this AMAZING dessert (which Tony and Tyler recommended) which was a melted cookie in a skillet topped with gelato, caramel sauce, and whipped cream. The next day I saw a phone call from Mendham. It was Tony following up asking how our first meal was there. I've never had that happen before and it just made me feel like we weren't just another customer. They really go above and beyond to make you feel like family which is the way that we remember feeling when we were in Italy in 2016. We highly recommend Dante's for a romantic Italian dinner and we can't wait to visit again.
