Sage Restaurant

Delicious food & friendly staff!! My 2 favorite things when eating out & Sage did not disappoint!! We had a 45-minute wait, but because of the location, there are plenty of stores to check out while waiting. We looked online at the menu & were excited about the food. However, when we were finally seated, the menu was for brunch & dinner didn't start until 5:00. All of that aside, I thoroughly enjoyed the shrimp & grits & my husband enjoyed his turkey sausage quiche! Both were seasoned to perfection! The only reason I gave the atmosphere 4 stars is because the music was TOO LOUD! But I'll go back again for sure!

Loved this restaurant! Loved the atmosphere! Loved the 90s jams! Loved the seasoning! Loved the staff! Loved the food! It was so amazing! We went here for dinner after we couldn't get a table at another place.. I wanted a sweet glazed salmon and thats why this place was not my 1st pick. I'm glad the other place was full because this place did not disappoint! I got the fish and grits.... soooooooooo good!!! The 1st bite, I instantly said, YEP! I'm leaving a review! My son said the same with his chicken tenders and my daughter said every other chicken salad sandwich she has had was dry and bland except for this one! She also said we needed to move there so we could continue having good food! Great job Sage!

Recommend for brunch. Enjoyed the vibe here. Service was great & friendly. DJ was good, food was good & cooked fresh. Drinks I had was good, although not strong at all but pretty presentation! 2 people in my party so we didn't have to wait long at all to get seated. Seemed like no one had a really long wait. Well return to try more dishes & drinks. Parking wasn't bad. Find somewhere on the nearby streets. This mural is next door, good for pictures.

Staff is super friendly. Ordered the fried cauliflower for an appetizer. It was fresh, crunchy, the breading was very flavorful and had a seasoning sprinkled over it. To die for. Also ordered the soul rolls which had chicken, greens and Mac n cheese inside, pretty decent. For the main meals, we ordered the pasta bowl which had an Alfred sauce but was a bit bland, but very creamy. Ordered the NY steak dinner, seasoned well and cooked perfectly. Also ordered the shrimp appetizer which was tasty. The fried catfish was fantastic, the breading was seasoned well and the fish cooked correctly, was flaky and delicious. It also came with cheesy grits with a spicy sauce that was to die for. Overall a fantastic meal. The mixed drinks we ordered were made to perfection. I would highly recommend this place.

We were walking on Main Street looking for a good place for lunch. Sage has been on my short list and today during mid-afternoon seemed like a great time. The food was very good on all plates. We had Fish and Grits with side of spinach; we had salmon with potatoes and vegetables medley. She had a Chardonnay, I had an IPA which were both great choices. The service was friendly and relaxed. They do add the gratuity automatically so be sure to read the bill when it arrives. Apparently they close at 3pm after lunch and reopen at 5pm for dinner; it was approaching 3p and closing time, otherwise we might have had more drinks and dessert. Maybe next time… Definitely there will be a next time! Yes this is a recommendation to check it out at Sage. Enjoy!

Looking for an early lite dinner? I stopped by the renewed Sage..has beautiful new interior, enthusiastic hostess and waitresses. Delicious cocktails, I tried the Nearest to Happiness and the muddle berries with the Uncle Nearest Whiskey, which was a tasty mix. Started with the soul rolls starter and ended with the Sage beignets with powdered sugar and a side of warm chocolate for dipping. Definitely worth a stop on the restaurant strip. I'll return to try an entree. Note, gratuity is added to your bill on the payment machine automatically before you see your total.. ability to tap and pay at your table.
