Aucuba Coffee Roasters

Very cozy cafe with good coffee, but pretty standard food. Would recommend for a quick coffee but you can definitely get better food elsewhere nearby. I got the avocado bagel which was tasty but very overpriced for what it was. I also tried my partner's mushroom toasty and it was unfortunately very underwhelming - they used only a small handful of cheap champignon mushrooms (the kind you get in a can) and soaked the bread with a thyme (?) butter, as though that offset the tiny amount of low-quality mushrooms you got in it. Very disappointed.

machine : la marzocco strada ep grinder : 2 mazzer robur, victoria arduino mythos one, mahlkonig ek43 roasting machine : proaster coffee : aucuba brew method : espresso super lovely ambience ( i guess because there not so many people haha) , lovely coffee, and they roast their own coffee in small batch with proaster. hope i can come back to here

Now I know where pre made meals from coles and Woolworths are getting, to the kitchen of this place... taste like rubbish but finds a good place on the menu of this S....hole... absolutely disaster will recommend to stay as far away as possible from this place. Coffee well average but they play with cold drip and mint and everything... so looks nice but delivery is disaster...

We came to this cafe because we love our coffee and it looked rather nice. Here is a run though of the next few things that happened: > We sat down and had to grab our own menus even though there was only one other customer > The cups with the water were grubby and one of them had crumbs in it > The coffee came out and was served on a saucer with crispy grub on it, it had not been washed either > the only positive was the cold drip was excellent but again also in a grubby glass > When leaving we said thanks and have a good day and were totally ignored Basically avoid this place unless you are taking your coffee away, I felt like we were inconveniencing them being there customers - Not a great experience.
