The staff were seemingly trying, and yet my soy cappuccino came out as a cow-milk latte, the eggs on toast with $3 side of avocado looked like a meal made by a person who has never eaten food, and our ‘hash brown stack’ was tasteless apart from the pool of Heinz ketchup it was laying in. Let’s not even speak about the coffee.

The service was inadequate and didnt provide much assistance. The waitress was just standing in the doorway awkwardly. I ordered the mushroom burger, on the day I went they did not have a bun in stock and instead served it with sourdough, the burger was covered in dressing, which was unpleasant. Throughout my meal I felt like I was ignored by the waitress despite being only few customers at the time. When I finished my meal I was not offered the bill and instead walked into the restaurant to again be ignored.

Great little place in Hardware Lane in Melbourne with good simple food that was not too expensive. The staff was friendly and helpful. Plenty of seats in the outdoor seating area but it was quite cold when I visited the place so I opted to sit indoors which was very small but cosy. My girlfriend tried the 10 hour pork special and I had the poached eggs with hollandaise sauce. Both dishes were pretty tasty and we couldn't fault it. Prices were extremely reasonable too!

Worst breakfast I've had in a while. Over cooked scrambled eggs that tasted powdery and tasteless. A side of mushrooms was 1 mushroom, also tasteless. Overcooked, very hard toast. It was probably a blessing that a bird from above pooed directly into my breakfast (which I shared with my 14months baby), half way through.. When I mentioned this incident to the staff, they refered me to the owner who dumbly asked me: So what do you want me to do?! Eventually offered to refund me for half of the meal as a "good will", but it was very heavy hearted and not said in a nice tone. So I just said don't worry about it and walked out. #neveragain
