Corkscrew Pointe

Was happy to see Grinders open again! Food is really great and very well priced. Italian beef & Cubano both really good. Nothing on tap (yet?) other than Miller Lite, although lots of bottle options for craft beers. Really wish they would get some servers. John is running everything out to tables himself. They have a beautiful outdoor area with a river view and new tables, but you have to run in and out yourself for drinks/food. They also decided to use the side entrance instead of the corner door. The corner says "please use other door", although it's unlocked and the regulars still seem to use it.

I loved the idea of what this "wine bar" was supposed to be when it opened. But it's turned into nothing but a gathering place for local drunks. The bartenders are incredibly rude, Randy the "karaoke" guy is a complete jacka**, only to be topped off by a drunk and uncaring owner that you can usually find sitting at the end of the bar, totally accepting and making excuses for bad service and rude staff while sucking down another drink. I've tried to enjoy evenings with friends there over and over... always to be disappointed and to have the night ruined by another bad experience. Every unnecessary bar fight and unhappy customer is a direct result of bad management. Don't waste your time!

Im not into really noisy crowded places. I love it when I show up early, and its an older crowd, but the wee tots come out later and the place gets really full and loud I also tried the Mega Bloody Mary. Avoid at all costs. It's just generic mix with a ton of toppings that are all prepared the night before. Warm things were cold such as slider and wings, and one item that must be cold to prevent food poisoning (jumbo shrimp) was warm to the touch.

Crowded and understaffed establishment, with little security and plenty of need for it. i've given this place more than a few chances, and if nothing else bothered me the fact that i can order the same drink numerous times in the same night and be charged a different price each time is enough to drive me crazy. The owner of this place has changed the focus of this business so many times in a short period of time it's no surprise there's no organization here. Flashing police lights are a common theme. Drinks = Prices Fluctuate Food = Mediocre Atmosphere = Sad
