Cowboy Chicken

Forget the chicken, this was/is the best banana pudding I’ve had my life, from a restaurant of course. While I didn’t have the rotisserie, which apparently is the main event, I did have a buffalo chicken sandwich which was pretty average, good though. All I can say is the banana pudding is why I want and will to go again.

The food is good but they still don't have their act together on efficiency. When you order a small order over the phone and are told it will be ready in 10-15 minutes but you arrive and spend 25+ minutes AFTER the initial 15 minute window with zero compensation it's frustrating. If it's going to be 40+minutes just to get a to go order (small order) then tell someone that!

Oh boy oh boy the name itself is deceiving my brother-in-law and I had to unfortunate experience of patronizing this restaurant thinking that we were stepping into a campfire style eatery. But boy were we surprised it says wood fire rotisserie chicken as you'll see from the pictures I took, ranch style beans which seems like the main ingredient is salt, the macaroni and cheese to die for, the fried okra was like any other fried okra, the other issue we had was the rotisserie wood fired Chicken it's almost like they soak it in a salt brine and then put it on the rotisserie this has to be the absolute saltiest chicken that I've had in ages. This is one of my newer posts since covid-19 has put a dampener on my restaurant patronage. The restaurant setting was absolutely wonderful I love the decor I love the service I love the fact that they have a person that actually checks the food to make sure the order matches what's in the containers. All I ask lighten your hand with the salt . Salt shouldn't be your main ingredients.

Just left and the staff tonight was impressive. Never heard of this chain, and we are not from this area. The ladies serving and taking orders were so nice and stopped to chat with our daughter about her favorite show, Peppa Pig. The manager also checked on us. We are on a new diet and worried about eating out, but we had the chicken and broccoli and it was so good! We have had a terrible day and it was so nice to be welcomed by people in the service industry who were so sweet and really good at their job!

I live 30 minutes away but we come because the family portions are generous, great sides and enchiladas. All the food I’ve tried is amazing but the service is even better. I had a problem with my pick up order missing food. I called. They made it right and apologized. They certainly made me a loyal customer with their service philosophy.
