Fried Tomato Buffet

My husband and I stopped here on our way back to Macon from ATL. I recently had to change my diet and I figured a buffet would give us both something to eat and the reviews were good so we stopped on a Sunday evening. I was a little skeptical that fried green tomatoes could be good on a buffet, but theirs are so crunchy, fresh and so good! Everything we tried was great and well seasoned. The salad bar has a great variety and nothing was old or lukewarm. They have something for everyone but not too much that you get overwhelmed by choices. Our server was fantastic, too. The hostess was warm and welcoming and very kind! The atmosphere is wonderful. We’ll be back and bring friends and family with us!

My visit on Saturday, January 2, 2021, warrants a rating upgrade from Four to Five Stars, based upon the correction of my previous finding (tables not sanitized). I give Fried Tomato Buffet Five Stars based on its choice of good foods in a clean environment for a reasonable price. During my former visit, I deducted one point because I did not see tables sanitized after a customer left. This time, I observed our waitress, Katie, and another waitress, both cleaning and sanitizing tables after the tables were empty. In addition to the above, I noticed the manager and host politely reminding customers to put on masks and disposable gloves. Each of the buffet bars have disposable gloves available, where a variety of delicious foods await hungry customers. Social distancing measures are somewhat in effect; some seating arrangements border on being too close together. The availability of hand sanitizer and disposable gloves are a plus.

We came yesterday for dinner for our 2nd time here (1st time was lunch) and once again, it was AMAZING! They give you gloves so that you are able to still use the buffet without them having to serve you. All the food was fresh and super yummy. They have such a wide variety of things to eat for everyone so you are sure to find something for everyone.
