Great food reasonable prices plus parking outside. Went early on a wet Monday evening so maybe my 3 stars for atmosphere is a bit unfair. Really enjoyed the food, great flavoured sauces and plenty of protein content. Kingfisher on tap. Two mains, a rice, a dhal, a pint and a half of beer comes in around £48. Went away happy if a bit garlicky!

We went for a meal here without booking, just walked in and asked if they could fit us in and we were welcomed in there and then. The service was excellent, the young man taking the orders was very polite and professional and the food was delicious. We both had a starter and shared main dishes and we found the bill to be very reasonable for the quality of food we were served. We will definitely make a return visit.

Visited 18/9 while staying in Matlock for a few days. We enjoyed our meal and the staff were very polite and friendly. The decor is lovely and modern. We will add it to our list of places to eat next time we stay in the town.

We regularly get a takeaway from Spice. Onion B’s are amazing and the curries are lovely. The service is also fab. Always delivered with a smile and most recently, we ordered as we were driving back from Eurotunnel and asked them to leave it outside the door, we knew would arrive much later and would need to reheat but they left it is a big insulated bag to help keep it warm and said they would collect the bag the next day. It was still warm. How lovely! Above and beyond! Wonderful restaurant x

Popped in here on a whim and although we didn't have the full works it was wonderful. The staff were very friendly and the place was clean and pleasant. The food though was a super suprise. Some of the best bajis we've ever had, the pilau rice was soft and fluffy and not dry or stodgy, and the Desi Delight with Spinach and Chickpea and Chicken Tikka pieces was outstanding. Brilliant brilliant meal. Will be visiting again.

Ordered a lamb hatkora with lemon chilli rice. Absolutely beautiful. Best curry I’ve eaten. Really polite and friendly staff.

The food was lovely as always. We did find the music a little too loud. The service wasn’t up to the normal standard we have experienced on previous visits. The waiter asked if we were ready for our main when only one of us had finished our starter and started to clear the table. After one of us had finished our main they again started clearing the table when someone was still eating. I wouldn’t recommend the wine.

The takeaway curries here are very tasty indeed, and reasonably priced with ‘happy hour’ offers available. I would highly recommend if you’re on a budget or even if you’re not !
***Update: July 2023*** Unfortunately Spice have now added not only a ‘Service charge’ but also a ‘Delivery charge’ adding about £6 to the total order… we could order another dish for that price, come on please guys :(

There were 3 of us, we had 3 starters, 3 mains, and a drink each, nan bread x2, rice and poppadoms.
This was just under £100, which I thought was expensive.
Took what felt like aaages to arrive, but food was tasty.

Alcohol is now served at this amazing Indian restaurant, the food was amazing, hot and plentiful. Would highly recommend. The staff were very polite and friendly. We went away very happy, full customers ! 😀

Stumbled across this restaurant passing by. Saw the happy hour for £15 which is starter, main course, rice and Naan . Not really expecting much but how wrong I could have been. I've been to a lot of curry houses, and this is definitely one of my favourites. Food tasted so fresh and the staff were so friendly. Would definitely come back if I were in the area again and would definitely recommend.

Wow, what a lovely dinner. Service was top notch, restaurant was clean! And most of all the food was fantastic.
I would give 5 stars, but everyone has room to be perfect!
I could eat from here everyday, if I was rich.
