This is really lovely spot with pretty views and well-placed for the way back from a good hike in the hills.
The staff were really friendly and helpful. The early grey tea is a highlight. Plus there's a masive outdoor area.

I visited here recently with my daughter, & decided to sit inside. It was lovely to see that there were various toys, & colouring crayons, to keep kids entertained whilst waiting for food.
I decided to go for a flat white, & for food I had the lasagne which was cooked & tasted perfectly. My daughter had the jacket potato with chilli con carne. We didn’t get any desserts, but I did get a bag of sweets for my return journey home.
The staff were helpful, & pleasant, when severing me, brining our drinks & food to the table.

Great little cafe in the park. Inside and outside tables, dog friendly outside with an area set aside inside. Staff friendly and helpful . Order food inside and have a good selection of light meals, our soup and tostie was delicious. Food came quick. cakes really fresh. Cost low to moderate, toilets nearby along with other facilities in the park.

Friendly place but disappointing coffee (bean to cup machine rather than proper coffee and limited options for different milk). Dog friendly but only for a few tables, which get packed very quickly while the rest is quiet! Perhaps they need to swap the areas around and make the small area dog-free for those who prefer it.

Home made pie and roasters with lovely thick gravy. Top notch food. Nice environment to sit and super staff. Even better not overpriced in any way. I’d score it 11 out of 10

Had tea and cake here recently. As usual the service was friendly and the food and drink was excellent. I have visited many times and would highly recommend. Called in again in August and had this lovely coffee and pecan cake.

Really nice cafe in the middle of Hall Leys Park. Serving breakfast, lunch, cakes and hot drinks with seating available inside and outside. Really good selection of food items and specials. Had a pot of tea for 2 and homity pie which was very filling and tasty. Well presented with salad and coleslaw. Has a customer toilet inside.

We went there after seeing all the good google reviews. We went for the large full traditional breakfast. Best i had in a while. Things were not greasy, the quality of food used were on another level to normal cafes. Really worth the money. We shared this and it only cost around £8. The surrounding was amazing on a beautiful hot day.
