Sweetcakes

We had the best experience with Veronica's Sweetcakes. They were professional and kind the whole way through, starting with the tasting! They designed the most perfect and beautiful cake tier and exceeded my expectations and thoughts on what the cake would look like! We had a cake topper and cupcakes (chocolate, vanilla and red velvet) tiered underneath. Although the flavors we chose were simple, you could tell they were baked with love and they were absolutely delicious!! I highly recommend this place!

We are so happy we went with Veronica's Sweetcakes! Our cake was not only beautiful but absolutely delicious too! When we went for our tasting, everyone in the store was so friendly and the cakes were so delicious. We had a hard time choosing which flavor to go with, but eventually decided to do the top and bottom layers different flavors and wow they were so yummy! Marybeth listened to exactly what we wanted and it came out perfectly! Thank you!

We went with Veronica's Sweetcakes for our wedding. We had cupcakes, mini cupcakes, and a small two-tier cake. The cupcakes were funfetti with vanilla frosting, chocolate with oreo frosting, and white almond with raspberry filling and vanilla frosting. The cake was vanilla/vanilla. I only had a few of the cupcakes, but there were none left at the end of the night. The ones I did eat were all the raspberry filling ones, which are probably as close as you can get to a transcendental shamanistic experience with a baked good. They lack description. The two-tier cake was somehow good even days after the wedding, and my wife and I were eating it long after what could be considered socially acceptable. Delicious. Affordable. Amazing. I can't wait until our 1 year anniversary so we can order another cake that's basically just a giant raspberry-filled cupcake.

I and my family have used V.S. For as long as it has existed in Marshfield. We have been extremely supportive offering to deliver cakes to various different events. Lately I’ve been disappointed in some of the things I’ve ordered there. Some of the cupcakes and cakes I feel are very dry or over baked. The other day I called to order sugar cookies, plain undecorated. I nearly fell to the floor hearing that they would cost me $35.00! I cannot justify spending the prices I pay there anymore for what I’m receiving. It makes me sad to express this to everyone but the price of the sugar cookies put the frosting on the cake for me.

AWESOME! I ordered the “turkey” cake for Thanksgiving- it was fun, creative, AND delicious! Ordered gingerbread cookie decorating kits at Christmas, and it was a huge hit- even with the adults! The frosted decorated sugar cookies are AMAZING- so beautiful and they will individually wrap them. I send these to family and friends who are out of state, always a big hit! Order early to ensure your choices.
