We had such a wonderful experience here! As soon as we walked in the door we were treated so special. I was going to just order to go but as soon as the owner showed us to a table with a chalkboard top to look over a menu I felt that it would be the perfect breakfast date for my son and I and what a wonderful experience it was!The food is amazing! Best oatmeal I've ever eaten! I also really enjoyed the quiche! I loved the orange juice jars and we had fun coloring with chalk while waiting on our food to come out. Wonderful experience and I'll definitely be back!

I first ate here with my family visiting from out of town in summer 2013 and I've eaten here quite a bit since then. My mom is vegan so the fact that they have so many vegetarian/vegan options available (including vegan cupcakes) was awesome. The desserts are to die for (not all of them are vegan)! They have great Angus burgers and other sandwiches, HUGE stuffed potatoes, soups and salads, and chili that they say won second place in a contest...My family was not disappointed! We all got to sample the Bellini peach tea--it ended up being all of our drinks. This is a great place for families, couples, whatever and they cater too. Only thing better about the food might have been the service, which was great. Such a friendly and helpful staff! Juli, the owner, really shows she cares. Bonus--you can eat outside of you like when its nice outside or have free delivery when its not.

I had lunch there today and am always delighted to see Juli Jameson and Matt Hatch when I'm in Downtown Marshall. I had the Rocket Docket burger, and in the past I've also had several of the great sandwiches offered -- always satisfied and pleased. Never talk yourself out of their cupcakes, forget the calories and live the sweet life with these delightful treats.

Oh my.  This is southern hospitality at its best.  The food is good the peach tea is just the best.  What a wonderful charming visit to a place that remembers what its like to treat everyone like family and friends.<br/><br/>I left there with my heart and my belly full.  It makes me smile to remember the experience.

We will start off by saying that the peach tea and the service there were good.<br/>We had an older review in here that we erased because we did not like it and avoided it for 2 years but since the restaurant is still here we tried it again and it was a different experience entirely. Started with an appetizer of the hummus and pita bread. It was a good appetizer with carrots and broccoli too. The hummus was good and homemade but would have looked better if not in a clump in the middle of the plate. The pita chips were good too and we ate all of this but nan bread is better. Entrees for us were the Bacon Cheeseburger and the Rocket Docket burger. These were both good and above the average burger. Could have had maybe a little larger meat patty and better bread for buns but overall a good burger and we would get again. The Rocket Docket was a burger with grilled onions and mushrooms and he liked it too. Probably our favorite thing was the Stuffed Baked Potato Salad= Potato salad with cheese and bacon too.....we think our favorite potato salad we have ever had. Much different experience from the 1st time! We will be back.<br/><br/>The setting was the old Homero's and Casa Tomasa building with different decor, dark colors and pictures on the wall done by the owner herself.<br/><br/>JG score of 3(+ 1.5 for food, 0 for atmosphere, 0 for price, 0 for no diet dr pepper, +.5 for service, and +1 for we will go back)

Simple and tasty. I called in my order in for lunch today. The lady that answered the phone was extremely polite - she acted like we had known each other for years - southern kindness at its best. I ordered<br/> The Big Tex, 2 hot link Sandwiches, and the turkey sandwich. Everyone thought the food was delicious, simply done and perfectly portioned. I also had the peach Bellini tea - LOVED it - very peachy but not too sweet. They also deliver! How awesome is that!
