Chef Chan

Ordered delivery of food - cost including delivery and tip was over $80. First plastic bag of food was not properly packaged - fluid running out of the paper bag within. Food quality was a disappointment and we ended up throwing out 80 percent of what we ordered which included egg rolls, rice, chow menu and two types of chicken. Maybe it was just a bad day at the restaurant - this is the only time we have ordered from Chef Chan.

I've ordered maybe 3 times from Chef Chan. Now I am really fond of Lemon Chicken and Chop Suey. I've ordered the Lemon Chicken 3 times and Chop Suey just once and believe me once was enough. The Lemon Chicken has been a complete disappointment every time. I have to say they cannot make Lemon Chicken. I would give anything if the Red Rose Chinese buffet was still open. They knew how to make Lemon Chicken and Chop Suey . They could have taught Chef Chan a thing or two. My last order from Chef Chan was last Saturday. It cost just over 50.00. I ended up throwing the lemon chicken out. Oddly enough they didn't send me plum sauce for my egg roll or even a lousy fortune cookie. Or any soy sauce..nothing. The search continues for a place that can make Lemon Chicken and Chop Suey. Good bye Chef Chan.

Great Chinese takeout place - I'm never disappointed with the quality of food or service. Food quality is comparable to a sit-down Chinese restaurant like Congee Queen or Asian Legend, but less expensive, as this is a takeout only place. My wife and I each enjoy the 'dinner for one' deals with an option for noodles, and the sweet and sour chicken balls are very nicely done. It's great in a pinch when we're too busy to cook dinner. Really friendly staff, and very reasonable prices. I have yet to find a better option for takeout.

I have had delicious Chinese and Asian food from Chef Chan since the early 1990’s. Jack Chan decided to step away from the hectic take-out business and selected his cousin Tommy to carry on what is a family tradition of providing good food at reasonable prices. The staff of Chef Chan remained through the transition and the food quality continued at the high standard established by Jack. I have recommended Chef Chan to friends who quickly become regular customers.
