Ruth's Chris Steak House Markham

Our food was great. Our server Chris was charming and professional. He spoke well and took great care of us throughout our meal. My fiancée didn’t like his cocktail and they brought him a new one immediately without question. We had the tomahawk and it was perfect. Sarah the manager was polite and also checked in on us multiple times during our meal. Parking was convenient. Will come again.

Loved it here! Ambience is perfect and so is the food and service. Starter bread was warm and fresh. Had the dirty goose Martini which was very tasty and savoury with blue cheese stuffed olives. Had the caesar salad and tuna starters which were both very good. Steaks come out on a sizzling plate, shared the 24oz T-bone steak, lobster mac n cheese and the mashed potatoes. Then chocolate cake for dessert - which was very rich - I recommend sharing it. Everything was delicious!

Our server Paul H was accommodating of our request to change our calamari to a plain one instead of their version with a sweet and sour sauce over it, which was a bit spicy. He was also attentive. The only issue we had was with the sauce poured over the calamari. They could probably make it as a dipping sauce for those who don’t mind the spice. Overall, good experience. We’ll visit again for special occasions.

After 2 years of isolation and creative meal cooking we ventured out to eat something special. That’s right - our evening started with Matthew our host (to call him waiter would not do him justice) who made the evening magical BEFORE the food showed up. Sarah, who made my son feel like tonight was HIS night - which it was. The best food (not exaggerating) the best experience and don’t bother to drive downtown, don’t stress about parking. Don’t stress about construction work on the roads to get to your destination. Go to THIS location. Feel like royalty, eat like royalty. Order and not worry that the chef will get the right cook on your meat (eaten too many medium request practically well done). Had a wonderful experience at Ruth’s Chris this evening. We were celebrating our anniversary tonight and the entire staff were so friendly. Our server Luke did an outstanding job and all of the support team was fantastic. The food was delicious. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer, which was very flavourful and then ordered our main course from the prix fixe menu. The steak was cooked to perfection and the salad and side were very good. They gave us a nice anniversary gift, which was a slice of a chocolate torte. Excellent! Been here a few times and they never disappoint. Highly recommend!
