The pub itself is very nice . Friendly service and average to slightly high prices. My partner and I both ordered a beer and a steak sandwich, the meal came out cold and very flat and unappealing, steak wasn't cooked to order and in fact looked like it had been cooked as an oversight , left on the warm side of the grill and then used 4 hours later when it could be, the salad was a misplaced selection of spinach leaves with its own dressing, there was then some kind of onion jam, once again well aged in the bottom of a saucepan, that had been bulked up with coarsely sliced/chopped mushrooms, tasted like stewed rubbish. Somewhere amongst all this was a pale stream of aioli and some dental tooled beetroot.16 horrible flavours one sloppy texture and no I will not return.

Worst food I've ever been served. I had a peanut chickpea salad with added beef. The beef was dry and taste less with no peanut flavors and 3 chickpeas on the plate. Couldn't eat it and was given a refund that hasn't shown in my account. Great waitress (star for her) but very expensive. Will never go back again.
