We were staying in Acklam and in search of a drink. We arrived at the half moon inn and were welcomed by an extremely nice group of people. The owners, Neil and Carol, were very friendly and a lot of fun. We came for just a few drinks and ended up staying late into the evening. Some brilliant beer, some great characters, and some charming dogs. Thoroughly recommend.

We stayed in Aclam for a few nights and ate in the local village pub. We were made to feel so welcome by Neil and Carol and the locals that we went back again the next night too. They've really thought about Covid in the current climate and although a limited menu the food was lovely and homemade and the ale really well kept.
