Some friends and I stopped here on a Saturday lunchtime a few weeks ago, the staff said an event was starting soon, but still welcomed us and allowed us to order food. We went to an outside seating area which was nice and we all left happy with the food we got with good portions. I have heard good things about the live music events here and hopefully will make one of these soon.

The food was OK, nothing wrong with it, chips were nice. I only gave it 3 due to it not being exceptional. Not the best I have had and not the worst. Standard pub food really. Service was good, staff were friendly and quick. We decided to sit outside as it was a nice day and the garden seating area was nice. It was quite when we arrived but got busier and noiser, somehow we managed to sit in the area that everyone let their kids run around. So when we finished our food we left as it was not pleasant and 3 smokers were sitting near us. Which was not nice while eating, I get we were outside and it was fine for them to smoke, but not nice for me while eating.
