Great pub. Just been taken over and entertainment is top draw.
Update the fox now does food which is great value and tasty. Staff are friendly and always a good night. They are also adding a bigger seating area and kids playarea also. Update new seating area planned to be open Monday 4th September and the new food menu is good. Had the chicken curry it was delicious.

Went for Sunday Roast and wasn’t disappointed, choice of 4 different meats, had 3 different meats and all were delicious, staff so friendly and couldn’t beat the price, not get cheaper food anywhere local. Will definitely be back….

Lovely place to go with family for food and drinks, food is amazing! Nights vary, you can go for a quiet drink, as there are 2 bars, some days they have entertainment and a bouncy castle for the kids, some nights have live entertainment on, management and bar staff very friendly would highly recommend 👌

Amazing Lamb Roast dinner by Kaz, honestly the nicest dinner weve had in a long time, came with extra gravy and was nice and hot. Would highly recommend and we will be coming back!

So we paid this pub a visit yesterday for the 1st time in a while.
It's under new management.. staff were amazing and In all honesty the place is brilliant. We ordered food for 2 adults and 3 kids. Roast was decent and home cooked. Bouncy castle for the kids outside was a nice touch. We'll worth a visit and we will be going back

This is a lovely establishment set in a built up area of Maghull, under new management it offers a friendly atmosphere with staff that are very amenable and professional although we havnt yet dined here we believe the Sunday roast dinner is to die for, we look forward to experiencing this. It is also a dog friendly pub ,SO, get yourself along and enjoy the whole experience as we did 😍
