A lovely find. Excellent food, coffee (proper espresso 😁) and service. There’s a car park only a few hundred feet away (free on Sundays!).

Hands down one of the best places in the region for food and coffee! They're coffee is spot on (proper 3rd wave), the food and baked goods are freshly made in-house and all items I've had so far are absolutely delicious. The staff are a super lovely bunch too. Highly recommend.

Been here only a few times, 1st time having a burrito 🌯, it was very nice, better than taco Bell, the size of the burrito was fantastic, much bigger than expected, really tasty, plenty of it.
The mixed fruit shake was really nice too, staff were friendly.. overall a nice place .

Nice spot, good location and nice atmosphere. Food ok, quite pricey but the coffee is delicious! Staff were lovely and service was fast. It is quite hot in there and the toilet could be nicer and dont think there was wifi.

Stumbled across this coffee hub as we drove to the Norchard Railway, popped in for drinks then returned for lunch..no doubt we will be back again within the next few days whilst visiting the area.
Fantastic place to visit. The best coffee and hot chocolate I've ever had, burrito was so tasty. Awesome vibes, very chilled. Staff are extremely friendly and it's dog friendly,which is a huge bonus for us.

Having been to Hips Social on multiple occasions, and being quite the connoisseur of coffee shops/cafes and similar, I am highly impressed with its extraordinarily friendly and welcoming atmosphere in the heart of Lydney town, complete with an ever-growing range of indoor plants, dogs (on leads), puppies and (not to mention) a superb breakfast menu, coffee/tea and hot chocolate selection, and a wonderful selection of cakes.
The prices are very reasonable, and there is a real sense of community here.

I came with my family on a Monday lunchtime they was busy but luckily found a spot for 5.
I used to go to there former place of work. I was soo glad to here when they opened their own place so every time I come home from uni I have to visit.
My normal go to is the avocado halloumi chilli jam and eggs on toast.
However, I crave a sandwich and omg they did not disappoint the Cuban sandwich 10/10 my partner have the spicy chicken sandwich with he loved just as much.
And the mocha and coffee roast is beautiful not too bitter a lovely bean. And definitely had to take some dessert home can’t forget the sweet dessert 😋

Definitely the kind of high quality independent venue I wish was more prolific in the UK! Fantastic food and quality coffee like this should be more common. Wonderful work from all involved.
