I dined with some fellow foodies last night and the food was spectacular. i order delivery with some frequency but in-person it was even better. Seriously, Mandarette is arguably the best Chinese cuisine in LA.

Wow. This is actually one of the best Chinese food spots I have EVER had— if not THE best! Being from NY I never felt like any Chinese food places in LA really met my standards but I was completely blown away with this place. The menu is huge and the portions are generous. I’ll be telling all my local friends about this place!!

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and the food is wonderful. Always consistent and cooked to perfection. Lovely service too. Highly recommend this spot!

Really enjoyed having a snack, ordered the BBQ Pork, which was hot and was enough quantity for the price.
It’s a huge restaurant that have been there for over 45 years.
The place was organized, could be better storage but definitely the kindness and service of Mr. T-M was making my time a better one.
Definitely worth it to be there to eat your food hot enough and have a good time watching some sports while eating good Chinese food.
I’ll come back soon!

Great chinese food in this neighborhood. It is certainly catered to a more American palate. Expansive menu, great location, good for large groups or a quick business lunch, and good service. The sizzling beef/ scallop and garlic peashoot were amazing. I highly suggest it.

Stopped by for takeout for a non traditional Thanksgiving. Haven't been here in a long time. Food was good and the employee dealing with take out was professional and efficient. Waiting time was longer than usual, but expected, so that wasn't an issue as I ordered on the spot.

The food here is always fresh and delicious, and the portions are generous. We love Mandarette so much that we make the drive here all the way from Venice! They have an extensive gluten free menu (for celiac as well) which is difficult to find for Chinese food. The people who run this restaurant are the best and always deliver fantastic and friendly service. Great for a chill dinner out or a yummy takeout meal. The won ton soup is seriously phenomenal.
