El Compadre

El compadre is a great place for authentic Mexican food. Everything we ordered was really good and they make a delicious margarita. The atmosphere was nice and also fit the authentic Mexican feel. The portion sizes were huge and we took home a lot of leftovers! Service was also very good, our server was very attentive and accommodating.

Was famished after doing some shopping around West Hollywood and was craving some decent Mexican. Glad to have found this place. Really nice burrito and Chile relleno. Also found out that they do top notch cocktails. Strongly recommend the Cadillac if you go. My server was industrious and on point. Highly recommended.

Hidden Gem in West Hollywood, not too far from the Hollywood Walk of fame. Loved the appetizers, ceviche and tacos. Margaritas were also great. Inside the location it has a nostalgic feel with the live music. The staff are super friendly, despite being busy they maintain professionalism and eager to please customers. I’d definitely comeback soon!

Authentic old-school Mexican restaurant with a bar at the front door area, two different dining rooms, and a small outback seating area. Comfortable large booths with red leather and top tier service from the people working there. There was an authentic band playing music for us too! My margarita was served a flame 🔥 which was beautiful, chips and salsa were excellent and the chicken Mole Enchiladas with rice and beans and sour cream and guacamole were was good as could be!!! Very traditional food in a restaurant with tons of character and history. Absolutely recommend, especially right there on Sunset Blvd, right in Beverly Hills and Hollywood.

Oh man. A friend told of us about this place and we’re so glad she did. Incredible food and super friendly service. A+ vibe and atmosphere too. Delicious beers. Sadly didn’t order a flaming margarita this time. Next time we’ll rectify. Clean bathrooms. Food was well worth the price and they were pretty fast.
