Doppleganger

Very friendly service and fabulous non-meat burgers. We tried a burger with a non-meat patty, tahini and mint. Just haooened to be strolling by and saw the fab looking burger on an advertising board outside. What we were served looked every bit as appetising, which is a rarity and the taste lived-up to the looks. When vegetarian burgers are this good the world just seems a better place.

Fresh, tasty burgers in a friendly spot. Burgers choices are spot on, and the flavours are great. I've tried a few different vegan burgers, as well as continuing to eat meat ones too. These burgers don't have the heaviness of some other vegan options, and are freshly made with care to have all the juicieness, texture and taste of a meat burger if that's what you're used to. Very happy we gave Doppelganger a try!

"Just plants, not junk" First visit here, warm and friendly welcome! We sat in booth, and the staff asked if it our visit. She explained the specials and that orders are placed using the tablets on the tables. Pretty simple procedure. We ordered the This is not Bob (Patty, B*con, ch*ese, sweet and sour pickles, homemade ketchup mustard, ranch sauce, lettuce tomato, onion) and the Primavera (patty, portabello mushroom, olives, m*zzerella, pesto, rocket, red onion, red wine matinata) 2 x air fried chips 1 x Ranch Slaw The bottled water was complementary. Very tasty too, especially the sparkling one, loved it. Paid just over £41 for two It was enjoyable and quite tasty too. Will spread the word about the plant based burgers. Only disappointment was, the salted caramel milkshake wasn't available... Would have to wait a week for the ingredients delivery... Boo There is a toilet on the ground floor but wheelchairs users might struggle to enter, it's quite narrow with saloon heavy doors. Not good.

PLANT BASED BURGERS LIKE NO OTHER BEFORE Just been to the newly opened Crouch End Branch. I have had several plant-based burgers before but these ones were more wholesome (i.e used more real plants) than the cheaply processed burgers available elsewhere. The fact they used so many fresh ingredients makes it wholesome and you don't have the processed food feeling afterwards. This company is trying to make a real difference to the world changing it habits of being hooked onto unhealthy processed burger food. We all really enjoyed the healthy 'Quack' and 'Jack' fries and will be back to try their smoothies and deserts. It's true what they say PLANTS NOT JUNK food restaurant
