Morley's

I went there and ordered 12 wings and chips and I could tell they were talking about me so I said "can I pay now?" then they straight away asked if I was from their country. I said no I'm from Jamaica... And they joked around in their language-Anyway I couldn't find my bank card and they asked if I'm tired and said that I look drunk. I feel annoyed that they've said that it's disrespectful. Every time I go they're not polite and I usually go with my 3-year-old son anyway I will not step foot in your store again just because I'm not from your country doesn't mean you can pass your place be disrespectful and don't talk about people you think they can't understand your language.

I forgot why I hadn't been to Morley's in a long time, then I went and remembered. Soggy Chicken. Wet sweaty skin coating. Salty chicken with no flavour and the smell of flour. Didn't wait for the chips, but I'm sure that would have been the saving grace..we hope. Wings were average, not too salty, crispy and we'll seasoned, but they shouldn't be hard to get right anyways.

If I could give less than one star, I would. I went in there last Thursday evening and ordered my meal, for myself and my niece. I overheard the staff behind the counter joking around the poverty of Syrian refugees. I currently do charity work around refugee camps helping a lot of Syrians - I found this very upsetting and inappropriate. When I confronted them they told me to "get back to your kitchen, woman" so I took my overpriced Triple M burgers in disgust and left. Upon getting them home, they were dry, burnt, and over done. The burger I asked for to be just plain (guess what) wasn't. They didn't answer their landline when I rang. To put it bluntly, Andrex got their fair share of money out of my for the next week as myself and niece had to take time off school and work respectively. Would never visit again. Do not recommend... unless spending a week on your toilet is a hobby of yours.

on 22/11/13 this fast food joint in south london insulted and abused my cousin's autistic 7yo son and then her, just bcos he has a stammer, and then called her a "stupid white woman" for being angry about it. what kind of sorry excuse for a man first all mocks a child, and then hurls racist abuse at the mother? the manager just stated that it was "none of his business". oh no? please join our 'boycott morleys" page on facebook for more information. this kind of discrimination needs to be punished - and the more people who know about it, the more who can vote with their money! Morleys? Hmm - tastes bitter!
