Superb restaurant and bar in a convert Cornhill that has retained many original features. As its located down a small side street right by the river it could be easily missed, but it's well worth finding. Food and setting were excellent. We where lucky enough to have a table right by the window overlooking the river. Really can't compliment the corn mill enough for their food and setting, we are already looking for an excuse to return. The only the speed of service really let them down, even deserts and coffees took ages to arrive, despite the abundance of staff. Luckily the food is worth waiting for. Reservation is a must.

Great food, really tasty and well cooked. Meals are well thought through and presented very aesthetically. The service was really friendly, very attentive, and prompt. It was a very busy night when we went and normally places struggle when they are so busy, but it absolutely did not effect the staff or their service which is incredible. There was a lovely atmosphere in the pub and it felt very friendly and safe. Highly recommend the chocolate torte and lots of local or independent breweries on tap which is awesome.

Loved the food and menu. Great location 👌 Service was ok but asked for tissues and no condiments. Was very busy however so I can't fault them

Superb location overlooking the river. Great menu and welcoming friendly staff. We visited for lunch on the recommendation of a local friend. Seanass Greek feta, a steak burger and garlic bread later we were very satisfied. Nicely cooked and presented food. Book to avoid disappointment especially if you would like to bring your four legged friend. Recommended.

Lovely pub, your team are very friendly and welcoming! You sadly ran out of the whipped goats cheese and kindly gave us some free haloumi fries which were fantastic, much appreciated. Very impressed and hope to come back one day! Many thanks for a lovely evening (our last evening of the trip and certainly the best meal we had!) :) I highly recommend the sea bass (with samphire and prawn vinaigrette, all perfectly seasoned coupled with a good helping of hollandaise which tasted freshly made) The pub itself is amazing with amazing views of the river.

OMFG these chips are to die for. They've obviously travelled here through a portal from a world restored to righteousness. The fish wasn't bad either and they have a decent selection of local ales. Staff went the extra mile to help.

Wonderful food, excellent service The Corn Mill has been grinding flour for at least seven hundred years and owes its foundation to the Cistercian monks of Valle Crucis. It is first mentioned in a 13th century document dealing with a fishing dispute between the freemen of Llangollen and the Abbot. The building, as it now stands, was re-built in 1786 with three pairs of grinding stones and continued as a working mill up until 1974. By the time Jerry and Graham came across it, however, it was sadly derelict and in danger of falling into the river. It is owned by a friend of Jerry's called Phil Brown, and we ended up leasing the mill from him for fifty years.
