I always come here never dissatisfied with anything on the menu the sweet and sour is always amazing as is the fried chicken and mushroom Ste the manager always makes sure that he looks after all his customers and they are well served and he always cooks fresh to order nothing is too much trouble for him or his staff 5 star ⭐️ 👍 😊

The food was nice and the portion sizes are good. The only thing was the chips were slightly underdone and a little hard inside. Other than though it’s a nice takeaway and I would order from here again.

First time ordering. Delivered in 20 minutes, piping hot. Great food - Northern crispy chilli beef was the stand out. Excellent flavour, crunchy veg and lovely crispy texture to the beef....not soft and chewy like some! Really decent portions too. Looking forward to trying what else the menu has to offer.

Second time trying this place. My favourite is the northern crispy beef. Its a lot different to other places, the batter stays crispy and doesn't dry up and go chewy. I was speaking to the woman on the till and she informed me that the chef came from the same school of Chef's under Mr Lau in the 80s. They had a famous restaurant in Sefton Park and had a notable student who had Chau's in Tuebrook. She told me it was authentic Peking cuisine which is rare to find in Liverpool. I'll be back again to try some other dishes that the kind lady had recommended

We are now regulars and know what we like from the menu. the Crispy duck is my wife’s favourite and We both like the House Specials that come with samples of chicken, beef, pork and prawns - my current favourite is the Chinese curry. Generous portions and quick delivery are normal. We phone the restaurant direct and get great service.

First time I've tried the salt and pepper house and it won't be the last, we ordered crispy beef Northern style, pork balls in hot and sour sauce and finally a house special in blackbean sauce . Food was delicious and great size portions for the price we paid. Can't wait to try more dishes on the menu.

What an amazing place! Regularly used these guys when we stayed at the local hotel, whenever we are in the area we use them still. Such amazing fresh food! Also have no problems adjusting an order for fussy people like myself. I honestly feel the chicken noodle soup played a part in me getting better thank you all inside the shop end delivery drivers.

No pictures as we devoured the food way too fast! Listen if you don’t order the staples : salt and pepper squid, peking hot and sour soup (yes not the artificial orange one), veg rolls, pickled veg . . . The list is endless . . . You are a fool! Steven & the staff at S&P are the ultimate hosts. They go above and beyond to ensure your experience is a flavourful one! Bravo 👏🏼
