From the moment I stepped through the doors until the last bite of the scrumptious meal, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Right from the start, the manager, Sian, deserves high praise for orchestrating a seamless and welcoming experience. Despite the bustling environment, she ensured that we were not only accommodated promptly but also made us feel like VIPs. Her attentive and professional approach significantly enhanced our visit. The service, equally, was a standout highlight. Servers Phoebe and Emma were not just efficient in taking our orders but also managed to create a comfortable and inviting ambiance. Their warm and friendly demeanor added an extra layer of enjoyment to the evening. Now, onto the star of the show—the food. The trio of roast and the 1/2 chicken roast were beyond fantastic. The flavors were exquisite, and the quality was evident in every bite. However, what truly stole the spotlight was the side dish of pigs in blankets. The chefs showcased their creativity with a delightful twist on this classic dish, leaving us pleasantly surprised and utterly satisfied. It was a culinary innovation that I won't soon forget. The overall atmosphere of the Red Barn was inviting and warm. The comfortable setting, paired with attentive service, significantly amplified the pleasure of the dining experience. It's evident that the fusion of delectable food and remarkable service is the hallmark of this establishment. Lovely night out with delicious food. Good selection of well thought out vegetarian options (that weren't just curry, curry and more curry). Lovely local produce. Staff seemed a bit thin on the ground when we first arrived and after mains plates had been cleared. Restaurant wasn't exactly busy. Had to ask for a dessert menu when it became apparent no one was coming to offer one to us. Staff were lovely and helpful when they were there though!

We had a booking for 5pm on Sunday. There was no chicken left for the roast, some starters were unavailable and the only ice cream left for the kids was vanilla. Food was ok but felt like it had been sitting for a while and was pretty dry. It’s a shame because it’s a lovely venue, but they need to ensure there’s adequate food available for the later bookings. Staff were very friendly and prompt so no complaints there.

Firstly it's an amazing looking pub. The outside area has loads of seating, including a few tables and chairs set up to over look the large pond. Inside it's really big and spacious with exposed beams and a real fire. Foodwise we had the roast which was great, although the potatoes let it down a bit. Son had the burger which he loved albeit it was on the smaller side. Whilst the staff were really friendly we did find ourselves having to chase a bit.
