Sweet Things

Small town parlor with hand mixed ice cream, homemade waffle cones (even chocolate dipped), and a candy area. The candy was fun, it had some nostalgia for me - giant jaw breakers, Coke gummies, etc. It is more pricy than the "average" ice cream cone, which makes sense because it is above average in quality and taste. Worth checking out if you have a sweet tooth. Family friendly environment. I need to go back and try a milkshake!

The ice cream was good. Loved the lemon oreo! It's cash only, but there's an "atm" inside. It's a debit card reader that you pay, get a receipt, take to the counter, get your cash. The three stars vs five is because of the staff. One was friendly enough, one was flippant at best, and then the third I think was not currently working but in-store as a customer. I'm not sure. She made a loud deal about not paying until the next day, stepped in front of the few of us in line, and then she stood in front of the counter with friends, virtually blocking part of the cases and counter. She carried on a conversation with one of the staff even as the rest of us were ordering and paying. I came here on a recommendation from two different Welcome Centers. I had higher expectations. But the ice cream was delicious!
