Perkins

Besides the food being good.. and I have eating there before. The service was ok the waitress was good in serving the food and on time but she wasn't that friendly . But the person who took my check to pay was extremely rude. She actually snatch my check from my hand and didn't even ask if I had a good service or how was my experience eating there.

Was harassed by the manager early in the morning. I was sitting in my parking spot. She pulled up and flashed her car lights at me. Then I proceeded to move my car and she started following me around the parking lot. I didn't know who she was. Then I parked my car in front of her and turned the lights on so I could see who was following me. Then I noticed it was the manager so I just pulled into a parking space and waited. Well she decided to call the police on me and I was approached by three cop cars. They laughed because I am very well known in the community and have been going to that restaurant for the last 12 years. I even have a favorite waitress. When I came in to eat I was told I couldn't eat there anymore because I blocked her in her parking space. This was ridiculous. Apparently she made a mistake and thought I was someone suspicious. She should have just offered me a free meal and apologized when she realized who I was. But instead she came up with an excuse. This is unacceptable. I will never eat there. I contacted the CEO to no avail. This was pure harassment. If she was afraid she would have not followed me with her car around the parking lot in circles. She should be fired immediately. This was in Lehigh Acres Florida.

Good food. Nice place, good location. But they’re overstretched when it comes to the staff. I mean the shift supervisor is working all over the place. Making sure that everything was in place. But they really need to hire more servers an cooks. The order took longer than usual and they forgot to bring the silverware. I know they did their best. Just need more people and give the ones that are working now a break.

On Sunday I had breakfast at Perkins in Lehigh . My server was Melody she was so nice and explained options that weren’t on the menu that I had no idea about. She also took my cash at the table . I didn’t have to go to the register. It was the greatest experience I’ve ever had at a Perkins. I have had this thought in my mind since last week and thought I’d share it with everyone since I keep thinking about the great experience I had with Melody and Perkins in Lehigh.

So this Perkins used to be pretty decent, good place to sneak off an grab some breakfast or dinner depending on the time. But in the last few years the place has gone down hill. From the smell of mildew, the unclean tables and menus, to the poor service and sorry excuse of a cook in the kitchen I would suggest you run not walk from this particular Perkins. The place was not busy when we arrived and it still took a bit of time before we got our order in and our drinks. The food when it finally did come, had been microwaved from sitting for so long and my daughters pancakes were over cooked and charred on the under side. Our waitress walked past our table many times promising to bring refills that never came. She shyly placed the check for our meal on the table and went straight to the kitchen announcing that she needed to leave. Take out orders and paying tables were left waiting for over 15mins by the counter when there was for once enough waitress working that someone should have been by the counter. I know the cost of gas is crazy high right now but it’s worth the couple gallons of gas going to fort Myers to a much better Perkins and not feeling like you need to shower from the experience and schedule a test for COVID

Place was crowded... Good food... Good service even though our waitress was slow... Hot food... Food taste good... Owners came out and told the homeless man in front of the restaurant to get lost ... Clean tables... Clean restaurant... And the checkout service girl was cute and very nice to me when I asked her how much to give to the waitress she told me $10 on a $48 check.. I left the 10 on the table cause the waitress didn't come by after she gave me the check...
