First time at JJ’s Vish n Chips. I had the Tofish, Chips & Mushy Peas. Delicious. Never had a vegan chippy tea, but this made up for the wait. Great flavour and texture, and a good portion size. Everyone should try it, vegan or not.

Two beautiful souls Jess and Liv, culinary crusaders for animal rights. Vegan vigilantes, who prepared me the best "fish" and chips I've ever had. Minty mushy peas were great, and their fried pickles were the absolute bees knees. I'm going to be visiting again very soon and advise you to do the same. Even if you're a meat eater give it a go, the taste is pure grade and it's much better for your system, and obviously, you know, animal life. Blessings to Jess and Liv the two lovely women who were incredibly welcoming and warm hearted, smiley and chatty. :)

I love this little chippy, especially now that they're 100% vegan. Always get a double battered sosage and chips. There portion sizes used to be a bit too small for me but they've recently upped their game on this too, so I can stuff more potato in my mouth.
Staff always happy and friendly, would definitely recommend if you want a nice chippy experience.

YUM. Tofish was absolutely unreal, mushy peas were the best I've ever had, crispy and yummy chips. Friendly staff. Chicken Nuggets weren't quite my vibe, but didn't detract at all from the rest of the meal. Would recommend to all!

Great fish and chips. The Tofish has a really nice taste. Banana blossom has a good texture but not much flavour so I'd say go for the Tofish. Try the deep fried pickles too.

Absolutely delicious! Best tofish I've ever had and not greasy at all - so you don't feel gross afterwards! I'm gf and had the gluten free versions and it was seriously yummy, the batter was really good and crispy 😊

Amazing! We had Vish and chips, calamari, curry sauce, and mushy peas and they were all fantastic. Service was lovely too, we had a little bit of a wait so they gave us free soft drinks, so so appreciated!

The Tofish was amazing! Mushy peas were great and the curry sauce was banging! Only thing to moan about was the chips, as they were a bit overdone and hard. That being said would definitely return.

Something funny about this fish. Couldn't put my finger on it. Thought it was my brain being wrong. You know, with virus being about.
I said I'd try the scampi instead. Something funny about this scampi. Can't be my brain being wrong. Regardless of virus about.
Asked for a sausage. Said don't do sausage. Twilight zone.

Absolutely incredible — we had the tofish and scampi & chips, with curry sauce. The scampi was convincingly fish and I was amazed by the texture! Tofish was so nice too with a nice texture. 100% recommend to veggies and meat-eaters alike — went with a meat-eater and she was mega impressed!

O.M.G shut the front door! What amazing food 🤤 I drove 45 minutes to here to try the Vish (banana blossom style) and it didn't disappoint! The smell was amazing, the taste was amazing, the service was amazing! The minted peas 👌 what a size of a pot! Will 110% be driving through again to try the Kalamari 😁 I can't think for the life of me what the Vish reminds me of in taste but it was very yummy

Just had a tasty vegan battered jumbo bratvurst on cheesy chips with a side of battered garlic mushrooms topped with garlic mayo! Such a perfect friday treat at a reasonable price!! Cant wait to return!! The battered oreos look amazing defo worth the calories will be on my order next time I visit!! This place proves you dont miss a thing being vegan!

Had some vegan scampi that tasted so much like the real thing!
Can also recommend the sausage and the halloumi. Haven’t tried either ‘fish’ option yet but will do the next time I go!
Great to see something like this become available. Good portion sizes for the price, definitely cheaper than a normal portion of fish and chips!

only had the battered 'sausage' and chips so far (twice) cause I loved it so much. literally down the road from me which is v dangerous lol. tastes literally like the real thing. the owner is well nice and they're smashing it. the outside area is cute to sit out in the sun with your scran. deffo gonna be going back at least once a week haha

I am a full-on carnivore, but this place is just around the corner from me. Since it opened about 4 weeks ago, I think every Vegan and Veggie in Leeds must have visited it. As I have seen people queuing out of the door most nights I, therefore, decided to try it out. I am actually not a big fan of normal fish and chips but happy to say this place is great. I have been three times now and every time had the SCAM-pi and chips with curry sauce. Totally delicious. The place has a great vibe. The staff are friendly and it looks great inside. I love the mural. It used to be a miserable looking chippy and I never once went. I imagine this is something the vegan and veggie community of Leeds have been waiting for ages, but even if you still choose to eat meat then the food is still proper delicious. Check it out.
