Drakes Fish & Chips

We were staying at the Dakota in Leeds we arrived extremely tired and frustrated because the whole city centre has been dug up and none of the sat nav would take us to the hotel. Anyway after arriving we ordered from Drake’s thru Uber eats. The food was hot delicious and the driver was friendly and very chatty. The chips were the best just how I like them we ordered little extras like Tom sauce, pudding with cream etc all were with the order, quite often they are missing. Well done Drakes you saved the day 10/10 well done Uber …… great Fish & chips if looking for a recommendation!

After reading the comments how staff are rude and waiting ages and how the fish and chips were not nice. Stopped off for some fish and chips and lady at counter was very pleasant as-well as the guy cooking fish at the back. Waited on average 5 minutes for fresh fish and chips and tasted as good as could be. Keep up the good work team Drakes 👍🏾👍🏾

Nice to find a real chippy, I live Leicester way (born elsewhere) where they call scallops fritters. Why??? Felt right at home here. Had haddock and chips, nice fresh crispy batter succulent fish and nice chips. The lovely lady even offered scraps, for me that's a blast from the past. Great stuff see you next time I'm in the area.

Went on Wednesday. Experienced a pleasant service from the "black woman" I've been coming here for years and she always knows my order, foods always fresh, always polite and has a laugh. I think she's over worked I often notice she is on her own and can see there's a queue. The justeat machines bleeping and customers complaining when it's out of her control. Manager needs to sort out more staff!!

Never had a bad meal from them yet. We've lived in the area for 16 years and wouldn't go anywhere else. The portions are very generous and the staff lovely and friendly. Sometimes you have to wait a few minutes for cooking but then you know everything is freshly cooked and its always delicious. Well done Drakes.
