We visited last week and it was great as always.
The seafood pasta dish was really good and the smoky cocktail was a special addition to the evening.

Love going to see The Overtones at Bibi's. Always happy with the show, the staff and the food. It wasnt 100% this last time as table was not what we expected and a couple of mishaps with service but I still live the place. Going again in October.

Food was good. Nothing special but tasty. Maybe abit overpriced for what it was. Staff were very attentive, quick and looked after us. Maybe worth returning again for an event night but wouldn’t hurry back.

Spectacular service. Nothing was too much trouble. I had tge scallops with roast potatoes as a main and every mouthful was delectable. I wish they had added a few more slithers of green chilli . Tomato soup as a starter was divine ...we went as a group to the show night which was stupendous . We had fabulous seats . My friend wanted to swap her pre ordered pizza and that was done without a quibble. The staff were friendly polite and hospitable as we left.

We visited Bibis in Leeds over the weekend [non tribute act night]. I would say overall the quality of the food and service was of a high standard. The dishes for starters Crispy Calamari, Cured Duck Breast, mains Picanha Steak, Seared Duck Breast and for Dessert Creme Brulee. The restaurant itself is a large, fast paced, bright and very visually appealing with the 1920’s vibe. In respect to some other reviews regarding the value, I suppose this is a point of view, albeit relative to a number of mainstream restaurants within Leeds City Centre.

Would like to give a massive compliment to the Management and staff at Bibis, Leeds, for the wonderful afternoon we had on Boxing day. The food was excellent, large portions, tasty. A wonderful Christmas lunch. The staff were extremely professional, pleasant and friendly and the entertainment, Frank Sinatra tribute singer and band were first class. Fantastic atmosphere and everyone seemed to thoroughly enjoy themselves. We will certainly be there next Christmas. A worthy 5 ***** rating.

Went for a Christmas meal with friends the atmosphere was impeccable as we had a George Michael tribute act on stage providing live music! Food and service was absolutely top-notch! Highly recommend the duck breast with the orange glaze! Very pleased with the first experience here hope to return soon!

It was my daughter’s birthday and we decided to dine in at BIBIS. The atmosphere was lively and the place was really well decorated giving a nice Christmas feel.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They made sure our dietary restrictions and choices were well taken care of 😊😍

The food is exceptional, the service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is unforgettable. I highly recommend Bibis Italianissimo to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience. The Elvis Presley tribute show is a must-see, and the food and drinks are simply divine.

My recent visit to Bibis Italian restaurant was an absolute delight, and I can't help but rave about it. From the moment I stepped inside, I was transported to a culinary paradise.
The food was nothing short of a revelation. Every dish I sampled including my personal favourite Chicken Mushroom, and Tuna Stake was a testament to the chef's skill and dedication to their cuisine. The flavors were bold and authentic, making each bite a tantalizing experience.
Apart from the main dishes, deserts too deserved a spotlight in my review. From tasting Tiramisu, chocolate sponge, to going addicted to Crème brûlée. These desserts were nothing more than happiness served on plates.
What truly set this restaurant apart was the incredible staff and service. The team here went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of the dining experience was flawless. They were not just attentive; they were genuinely passionate about sharing their love for making their visitors happy.

Fantastic Sunday afternoon 🥳🤩 This place is awesome 🙌🏻 not the cheapest for food & drink but it is all spot on - service, quality & atmosphere is definitely worth it. We have been for the Phil Collins Tribute & then thus time we did the Tina Turner Tribute. She was absolutely fantastic. I think everyone got up to dance at one point 🤣 The place itself is very art deco glam - the lakes toilets are stunning. We will be back soon.

Awful food.... Went to Elvis tribute night (friend's birthday). Pre-ordered crab & avocado pate - not much of either spread thinly on a thick slice of bread covered with balsamic. Awful, though those who chose cured meats and pickled veg fared better. Second course I ordered lamb, which came as a huge, greasy kebab with dried up rice and a side of nicely cooked veg (which didn't go with the kebab - should have been a salad). Coffee or tea and that was £25 worth of rubbish food. Girl next to me ordered the sirloin, which she couldn't get her knife through.<br/><br/>Bottle of (very) average red house wine at £19 (must be the most expensive house wine in Leeds) and it worked out at £35 - not cheap for the poor quality.<br/><br/>I stopped going to Bibis years ago when it moved from Greek Street. It's way overpriced - won't be going again.

Went Lastnite 4 my 40th, Atmosphere was gr8, Food was fabulous. The service was wonderful the waiters/waitresses took gr8 care of us and the bar staff had a laugh with us. All in all a brilliant nite! Would highly recommend BiBi's 2 everyone out there.

Bigger is not always better. This is the third incarnation of Bibis in Leeds and I've been a patron for 35 years. The original one was the best and the new one has become a bit of a place to "be seen in" but the food is consistently good and it has a real buzz (perhaps too much of one?). There are a lot of bad reviews but I've never been disappointed. Try it yourself at least once. And how you can knock a place for being too popular is beyond me!

Standard.... Ok, but only ok. My starter (Black pudding with poached ducks eggs and a wholegrain sauce) took about 2 minutes to come and when I got it it was cold as if it had been sat waiting since before I entered the restaurant. My main course (Pizza with piri piri chicken and yorkshire ham, mozerella and oregano) was delicious, the base was slightly over-done but generally a good pizza. For desert I ordered Cheescake, when this arrived it wasnt cheescake (more like Franzipan) and if the office of fair trading had been sat with me I feel they would have agreed. Even so I kept an open mind, but to be honest it was a poor desert (although deserts going to other tables looked delicious). The Espresso I finished my meal with was easily the best thing about the evening (Fantastic coffee). The decor was nice if a little tacky. Staff were courteous but didnt really seem to care. Prices were better than I thought they would be (£50 for a meal for two including a couple of drinks each). To top all this off the beer was flat (Aaaargh!). <br/>Leeds has an abunndance of Italian restaurant's trying for your business many of which are much cheaper and it suprised me that Bibi's, with such a good reputation, was so unimpressing. I guess after reading the reviews on Urbanspoon maybe I shouldnt of been so suprised at the poor overall meal.<br/><br/>Johns Ratings -<br/>Food 5/10<br/>Service 5/10<br/>Restaurant 7.5/10<br/>Overall 6/10

Ok let's be fair the food is ok but niot special and not great value. But Don't bother unless you want to spend an evening like battery chickens In rows and rows of people, like having waiters shout your orders back at you or you particularly want to have a large screen distraction across the table with Lional Richie videos playing. Poor. Food was ok, but nothing special. But with such a pretentiously overbearing decor both out and in, I should have known that the service would be shocking. Rude waiters who cannot cope with the demand, give you little time and were rather unhelpful. Moreover, it was full of big groups of 'parties' - hen nights, office parties etc, the place was crazy and very loud. Now I like a good loud night out, but the restaurant was more like a nightclub and was dreadful for taking my parents out. I'm glad i wasnt there on a date either as it would be impossible. If you want an average Italian meal for a boozy party night in a bling new money setting then this is the place for you.<br/>If not, AVOID!

I absolutely LOVE Bibi's! It's one of the best restaurants in Leeds by far! I've been going to this restaurant for a few years and it never disappoints me! The interior has a nice classy touch of art deco, it has live music on certain nights but overall I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone! Love it!

One of the Best. We are lovers of Italian Food and this restaurant is probably one of the best. Go along yourself and I assure you wont be dissappointed. Selection is fantastic, service is superb and the Food is devine.

Brilliant Italian restaurant with great food and atmosphere, I highly recommend it. Look out for some of the tribute artists that occasionally play there - excelent fun and the food is delicious though could be very expensive but well worth it!!
