Iberica Leeds

We were in Leeds for the Leeds v Blackburn football game. We had no reservation.However the receptionist was less than helpful when we explained that we did not need a table but were happy to sit at the bar and have some tapas .We were told we would have to wait over 2 hours to be served.However when we spoke directly to the bar staff in spanish, they facilitated us immediately and got served straight way at the bar which was empty.The wine was a lovely bierzo (petit pitacum) along with a cana of Estrella Galicia. The jamon iberico and croquetas plus bread were so so yummy. (Authentic spanish).Overall, the quality of the food was fantastic and very reasonably priced.The ambience of the restaurant was very enjoyable . Service provided led to a £20 tip being given to the spanish servers. Despite the earlier experience above, we would recommend the restaurant to all. Absolutely recommended! The staff are delightful, especially Tom and Hector, who made our experience even more enjoyable. Tom provided excellent guidance on choosing tapas, while Hector showcased his passion for crafting delicious cocktails. The ambiance of the place is remarkable, and the food is equally impressive. We savored the octopus, crispy aubergine, winter gazpacho salad, and hake - each dish was a delight. Should I find myself in Leeds again, this restaurant will undoubtedly be on my itinerary!

This place is amazing! First of all the staff is lovely. All the tapas platters that we tried were brilliant. Padron peppers are amazing, but the greatest is the churros !!! We were a bit suspicious whether it would be the same food experience as we had in Spain. Frankly, it may even be more delicious. The food, drinks, atmosphere, and staff; basically everything is lovely. They forgot to bring my espresso and I have been informed that due to this inconvenience, the coffee will be on the house, which means that they care about their customers. There is a 12.5% service charge included in the bill which is completely deserved. Next time we will come with our group of friends to enjoy more and try paellas.

If I could give 6 starts, I would! Came here for the 3rd time on Saturday to celebrate my 30th. I thought I'd booked a table but they couldn't find the reservation and neither could I! However, they were very accomodating and gave us a table downstairs with a restricted tapas menu. They straight away brought us a complimentary Gava bottle, which I really appreciated! The manager Shaun was really helpful and eventually found us a table upstairs where we could move to! The atmosphere and service were elite and the food was to die for! At the end of the meal, they also offered us 2 complimentary churros with candles on top! Iberica, you're the greatest restaurant in town -Thank you!

We had a family meal here. Absolutely FANTASTIC. I’m from Spain and always looking for good Spanish food and can never find it. The croquetas, peppers, jamon iberico were 10 out of 10 seriously. The seafood paella could improve a little but still no complaints. The building itself is amazing, and although it sounds odd the bathroom is incredible. One of the best Spanish restaurants outside of Spain I’ve been to 👏👏

Great restaurant in Leeds city centre I would highly recommend. Food was really nice black rice was my favourite out of all the dishes we ordered. Service was amazing and nothing was too much really friendly and kind people. Atmosphere / decor of the place was so nice and they have done a fantastic job of renovating the place. Would recommend to have a drink in the bar area before going through to the restaurant a great selection of drinks. Will be back :)

Wedding 29.07.2023 Where to start? Coleen, Shaun and the team at Iberica were incredible on the lead up to our wedding and we couldn't have asked for anything better on the day! The atmosphere, food, drinks and attention to detail was impeccable. We want to say a HUGE thank you for everything. All of our friends and family absolutely loved it, what a day!! If you haven't booked your venue yet, we cannot recommend Iberica enough - you won't regret it!! We wish we could do it all again! Laura & Eliot
