Le Bakehouse

I've been to this bakery multiple times and I don't know why keep coming back. I keep thinking maybe this time the food will be fresh but it always fails to impress. The only reason why I've given two stars and not one is because the staff are nice. The cakes however, are awful. They are always dry and seem like they've been sitting there for days. And if they aren't dry they are soggy and lack flavour. The pies and rolls are barely warm and everything is overpriced. Unfortunately it's the only bakery in leederville and iga isn't any better. Very poor, recommend eating at the japanese next door.

I came here to get some food, I decided to try the steak and mushroom pie. The Asian lady that was serving me also asked in a very enthusiastic manner "You want drink!?" I said no thank you and immediately received a nasty look from her. I found a seat and started eating the pie, and realised there was no mushroom in it, but I wasn't too concerned about it as I considered it an honest mistake. So I took another bite and a huge chunk of very tough gristley steak came out about 70mm by 40mm and I had to spit it into the bin because it was burning my mouth. I felt humiliated and I was not satisfied so I took it back to ask for a refund. After explaining my situation to the Asian woman that served me she immediately accused me of trying to scam them for a free meal. I was yelled at and told "don't ever come back here again". At this point I was furious and expressed to the people working there that it is my right as their customer to receive fair service and how dare they accuse me of being a dishonourable man. I am absolutely disgusting with the service here I am still shaken to the core by the atrocious manner in which these staff are operating this store.
