Rg's Bbq Cafe

I had the half chicken and half ribs for lunch here and my friend had the pit turkey sandwich. I thought the chicken was delicious - very moist and flavorful. The ribs were also good but a little dry. Still the bones easily separated from the meat. My friend thought her sandwich was OK. Their sides were all very good. We tried the mac & cheese, baked beans and onion rings. They have a deck out back that nice to eat at but the dining area itself is a bit sparse and stuffy.

Wow, this place was unbelievable! I have no idea how this place had a 5-star rating from others. Ribs were so dry that even my fork would not poke through. Chicken was also dry. Pulled pork tasted like papers. This was the first restaurant that I ever had to force myself to eat the food, and I am not a picky eater.

The bbq ribs are out of this world, I like mine slightly crispy with extra sauce. A prefect combination of sweet, spicy and smokey. I add on the signature onion rings, mac/cheese and collards make for a perfect meal. Oh and don't forget the skillet baked corn bread. Need to open up a second location closer to me in Southern MD

One of my friends referred me to this place and I was let down tremendously. Half the menu wasn't available due to them being out because their orders hadn't come through. This was annoying because every other times me and my wife attempted to go it was randomly closed. I got a pulled beef bbq sandwich with some bbq beans and fries. The sandwich was ok, but the fries were mediocre. The bbq beans weren't hot and had too much sweetness to it which was disappointing. The inside of the establishment was cold on the inside with no heat. The parking lot was a muddy mess. I'm almost offended my friend referred me to this place. Never going back. It needs to shut down with this poor servicing and unavailability.
