The food was very good and the presentation was very enticing. I had the ravioli stuffed with mushrooms and steak, proceeded by a delicious salad. At first the dressing on the salad was very salty. We sent it back and were offered profuse apologies and a new salad that was perfect. The owner was very personable and funny. He gave us a free Panna cota dessert which is creamy and delectable. I would definitely go there again.

As Italian food goes, the food is a cut above nearby Don Antonio, or Il Forniao or Jason's. Quite excellent. I had not known that Bolognese sauce is supposed to have carrot in it, that you can taste. The waiter explained this to us after we asked what was in it, because we found it so delicious and interesting. The service is relaxed and friendly, very nice. I have one major complaint though. In the inside dining room when we were there, which was at the beginning of dinner service, maybe 5:30 or 6, there was a really loud noise happening from some machinery in the kitchen. It was constant and very distracting. In the patio out front it was quieter and nicer. If you go, see if you can get a seat in the front patio. They should really do something about the noise. In addition to the machinery noise, the music they were playing in the kitchen was at about the same volume as the music playing in the dining room, so the sound experience was terrible. Only one star off though, because it's otherwise such a special place.

Mangia Tornò - roughly translated, to eat and come back! The food here was fantastic. If you know good Italian food then this isn’t a disappointing experience and the staff are all very attentive (as you would expect). I am from the U.K. but worked all over Italy for many years and these guys do a great job in bringing a taste of Italy to this fantastic area of California. Would highly recommend.
