Burger King

Visiting the Island (late June 2022) and needed a quick bite for the family. Pleasantly surprised to find the ordered items to be quite tasty & plentiful. The Whopper was like the original size from my days growing up - HUGE - not like the downsized ones in CA & NV. Excellent tasting. Wife's chicken sandwich was tasty as well. Best of all, the fries were hot right out of the fryer and the quality of the potato was obvious to all of us. Highly Recommend.

Had a late snack at Burger King in Maui. The food was good, chicken sandwich, fries and a small drink. Monica had the same. The shock came when they would not accept our coupons. I had asked before we left the mainland if we could use in Hawaii. They assured us we could. Well we learned we could not and or bill was over twenty two dollars. Oh well.

This a typical Burger King in Lahaina, Maui. For reasons unknown to me, there is a large white wall erected to block the view of the cars in using the take out window, which might cause you to miss the building unless you know it's there. I appreciate that it is there, as very few quality fast food places are found on the west side of the island. The food is good, the restaurant is very clean and has an understated mordern decor. It has great air conditioning, too! I don't know if it is because it is still fairly new, but the service is a little slow and the staff preparing the food always seem to be struggling a bit. Despite that, this is a very nice Burger King, which seems to be enjoyed by tourists and locals alike.
