Mr Sub Deli

Stopped in here today to grab sandwiches to bring to the beach. We were greeted by a friendly woman who I assume is the owner. She told us the shop had been there for 38 years!? Wow! There were 2 other people working in the shop and both were very friendly and gave suggestions as we decided what sandwiches we wanted to order. Price was great for a sandwich in Maui- $10-$11! We waited outside and the friendly lady brought out our sandwiches in less than 10 minutes. There were each individually wrapped in a small paper tray. Perfect to throw into a cooler for a day at the beach. Both sandwiches were delicious. I have no clue what other reviewers are talking about when they say “not much meat”…. It was the prefect amount for us - definitely not on the light side. Bread was fresh and good as well. We enjoyed the sandwiches and will definitely be back! The place was clean and much nicer than I expected. They have a few tables out front if you want to eat there. Only a block off of all the action on Front Street. They all serve breakfast all day as well!

Very fast, very friendly, and the sandwiches are made to order and wrapped so nicely. Great choice if you want to pack a lunch and take it somewhere else on the island for a picnic/lunch. Would highly recommend this place. The quality and taste of the meat was much better than your average deli. Thank you, Mr. Sub! I'll come back again!

One of the best subs I have had on Maui. Priced higher than a deli but it is right off Front St! I work nearby and this is my go to. The French roll bread (I think that is the name?!) is awesome, much better than the wheat I tried. Tons of variety all made fresh and they load it up. I call ahead and they have it ready to go in a few minutes. Indoor and outdoor seating is a bonus.
