It is an extremely small business and service can he a bit slow. However, let me tell you, it is well worth the wait. Every time i come to san diego we come out here to get fruit salad and fresa con crema. It is so fresh and delicious. Not too sweet.

They have excellent, tortas, sandwiches, and fruit. They bread used is always fresh. The prices are also econominal,and the staff is very friendly.

The Fruit Palace has great fruit salads and tortas. I also like the biónicos, strawberries with cream, chamangos and such.
The service is not fast, but it is worth your while. Tortas de lomo are delicious, but my favorite still are the fruit salads, which I recommend without reserve.
Being near Southwest High, the Fruit Palace is crowded at certain times, especially after school. I try to go at different times, so the waiting is not that long. Or order by phone.

Best tortas this side of 'The Wall'. Best smoothies in Southbay, and the fruit is always the freshest.
