Subway

Eating healthy at Subway is generally easy as long as you avoid some of the blatantly unhealthy stuff like bacon, cheese - infused breads, sodas, mayonaise, and sodium - rich items such as pickles, feta cheese, and some of the seasonings. Check the menu for more details. For starters, you can try a 6" whole wheat bun, chicken or turkey, toasted, with tomatoes, olives, lettuce or spinach, sweet onion sauce, and pepper on top. If you're getting a footlong, split it into two separate meals and eat the second half later.

Was slow tonight (5/20/2021) but the one dude who continued to make sandwiches and continue when his co worker left him in the middle of a huge rush deserves a raise or a bonus. Dude was exhausted and was getting treated very rudely and still treated every customer with utmost respect and got his stuff done. Someone give that man a raise or hire him somewhere that will pay him more!!!

Very much worth it. One of the better places to have a quick meal without having to spend much. They have some decent number of meat options to choose from. They have also started selling sliders that cost less than $2. Also, the location is very convenient. Quite close to Costa Verde and the UTC bus stop.

Really great place to go eat. The workers are so nice and helpful, if they ever run out of something they go and check the back. Everytime I go it seems clean and organized. It almost never full, but when it is the line still tends to move at a decent pace. The fact that they're open 24hrs is also great because I can go after a day of studying and still get a delicious meal.

Hit or Miss. Guy working tonight was great. I live close by and sometimes it's busy, sometimes it's empty. If its busy, I usually just leave, they're not very efficient. Service isn't usually that great, but then again, its a 24 hour subway in a college area. Last week I went, and a new guy was being trained. Took him 12 min to make a wrap, and he didn't know which meats needed microwaved. Don't go out of your way to come to this location.

By far the best subway I have been to. Various type of customers come to this subway being next to UCSD, apartments, business center, and a mall. It isn't easy serving them all. I do not know why the rating is so low for this awesome place. The lady who works here is the best, and by far the coolest.
