Cozy place with good food, drinks and friendly service. The ambiance is warm, and their outside sitting area is cute. The menu has various homemade items and they actually smoke things in-house. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you happen to be in Knowlton. Portions and prices are reasonable.

Sad to hear that this place closed down during the pandemic. They had the best Christmas sandwiches! Good beer and dessert selection too. This local hotspot for great food and drink will certainly be missed by Knowlton residents and visitors alike. :(

Got take out fried chicken yesterday to support our local businesses. Awesome. Light, flavourful batter, perfect chicken, moist, everything you want in fried chicken. Sauce complements everything, good fries and slaw. Recommend it to everyone.

We arrived at the Star Cafe just while they were closing for the night, the waitress was extremely friendly and insisted on us staying. Im so glad we did! The b.b.q chicken was incredible! The fries fresh, and gravy was amazing! Cheers to this establishment!

This is a nice place to go for take out coffee. Service is quick! Coffee is good :) They've got one of the nicest patios in town as well and offer live music at times. I've only eaten there once and the food was 4/5 for me. If you enjoy heavier meals, though, you'll probably enjoy the food too! Beautiful building as well.

I went for lunch and the food was disappointing and service was extremely slow. Several other customer got served before us even if they arrived after us. Once we got our food I asked for hot sauce and the waitress said she had none. Funny enough when we went to pay our bill, their was a full rack with all kinds of hot sauce right on the counter top. Really failed to fulfill our expectations. And believe me, I did not have high expectations and I'm pretty tolerant.

Very cozy place. The food is great, with a lot of it smoked in house. The ham and bacon in particular are fantastic.
The coffee is excellent, and you can get it to go, if you're looking for a quick coffee as you pass through the area.
It's a nice, quiant, local place that's worth stopping at if you're in the area, and they have live music at times as well.
