Amore Mio

The gelato is delicious (my personal favorite being banana toffee), but I wanted to point out how great their breakfast/brunch menu is as well. Can you believe I got this for $15? Every other brunch place in Kelowna would charge $20 minimum for what I got here $30 in many cases. I got 3 eggs, a delicious balsamic dressing salad, 3 slices of bacon, 3 slices of ham under the bacon, and a big portion of potatoes (subbed extra instead of toast). This is better than any other standard style breakfast I’ve had in Kelowna and much cheaper.

I rarely go out of my way to praise a business like this, but both Amore Mio and its owner are absolute gems. I ordered takeout and there was a small mishap on my order from a new employee. The owner called me personally within minutes to apologize and to find a solution. Absolutely outstanding customer service. Oh, and... they're in a fantastic location and their gelato is AMAZING! Don't miss out.

Must check out! Came for the ice cream after dinner (~7-8pm). Short line but went quickly since multiple staff working. Had lemon meringue and rocher flavours. Nothing is overly sweet or overbearingly flavoured. Super smooth and good consistency. I enjoyed the little chunks in the meringue, and i usually don’t enjoy stuff like that.

As soon as I saw the ice cream shop, my eyes lit up and my heart skipped a beat Presentation is something that most places lack but not for this quaint store! The two ice cream scoops I had were maple bacon and toffee banana. They were both exquisite. The gentleman serving me was delightful and took his time in explaining how each flavor tasted and how they improved them. 10/10 experience

Have only been to Amore mio twice, but the staff recognized me, and my dog, even remembered his name! Ordered myself a classic breakfast and ordered my dog is small breakfast no spices. While both plates came out at the same time, my food was hot and ready to eat, and his food had already been cooled down for him. The team thinks of everything! I will definitely be back, and I will definitely be telling everybody to go here!
