Delicious food at affordable prices. I had the Plantains, which are super sweet and served with a spicy avocado sauce that is savory. A wonderful flavor combination and not one I have had anywhere else. The three crispy shredded chicken tacos were on $10. You can’t get drive thru food at this low price point, and the food here is cooked fresh upon your order! The people who work here are always pleasant and welcoming. It’s my go-to place in Keller. Give it a try! You will love it!

(Update, reply: We ate at the restaurant. This was not a To Go order.) If you're expecting anything close to an authentic Cuban Sandwhich or even Puerto Rican pernil sandwhich... this is not it. I knew I was going to get pulled pork instead of chunks of grilled garlicky pork, but I was not expecting the pulled pork to be drowning in some red sauce that made the bread soggy. There is no red sauce in a real Cuban sandwich. It also did not have Swiss cheese. The cheese was white but it had no holes in it and I didn't taste the Swiss. The outside of the bread on top of the sandwich was so greasy that I had to keep wiping my hands. Every Cuban sandwich in Miami in Little Havana that I've had, is NEVER soggy or slathered in grease on top. The bread is supposed to dry on the outside, pressed with a bit of butter and that's it. I had to toss the bread and just eat the inside with a fork. If you're not expecting a Cuban, then this sandwich is ok. Personally, if I want a sandwich dripping in red sauce, I'll eat a sloppy Joe. The cheese The guava empanada is on the small side for $2.15 and not made on flaky phyllo dough and its not even red BUT it was delicious. Very tasty. I noticed they use the same pulled pork on their other dishes and my friend liked it in the bowl with rice. I hope the owner doesn't see this as a bad review but just an honest review for Cuban sandwich connoisseurs that I know would be as disappointed as I was in not getting the real thing. I included a pic from Google so you can see what I was expecting and notice the bread... it's not wet or greasy.

I have enjoyed everything I've tried so far. I've been to this restaurant about 6 times in the last year. Everything seems to have a little twist that I think makes the food unique. A rice bowl will come with standard ingredients plus some kind of pickled cabbage that has a sweet/zesty flavor and goes really well with the rice bowl, tacos, and whatever else they top. The steak comes with a parsley/cilantro mix topping which is similarly unique and delicious.
