Grey Stone Tavern

Walking in at 7 on a Friday night we got good times, a lot of laughs, friendly chatter and family vibes, which was cool. The chicken strips, onion rings, waffle fries, mozzarella sticks (sampler platter), chicken fajita wrap were all really good and tasted homemade and fresh. The nacho chips that came with the wrap were just ok but who cares, it was like a garnish. We went to AKA Sushi the night before to celebrate our anniversary and it wasn't close to being good(being from Detroit we know good sushi) made us feel sick, paid way more and left hungry due to some of the food being rancid and inedible. (Who charges that much for a crammed weird bowl of iceberg that you're forced to try to eat with chopsticks lol...story for another time)This place, the vibes, the people, the staff, the food...it was a package deal. It's not gourmet, it's a bar, but it's GOOD! Feels like home for the first time in 2 years after moving to the Jackson area and definitely made our anniversary more fun. We were really missing our hometown hole in the wall bar vibes and we will definitely come back.

Ate at the Greystone a couple nights ago, I had the fish and my wife had the lobster Mac n cheese, the fish was disappointing, looked and tasted like it came from the frozen food section at the grocery store. French fries were tasty though. The lobster Mac n cheese, however, was super delicious! Eye and palate pleasing! Beers were nice and cold, and the service was very friendly and prompt! All in all, this place is great.

This place was amazing!! The donut burger was recommended with bbq sauce A++ I had the tavern burger it was so tasty good seasoning fries were hot, The bartender who waited on us made me feel right at home. The regular customers made my night i had lots of laughs. Tonight had me missing my hometown bar that closed down a few years ago. Highly recommended
