Cool Al's

Absolutely LOVE this place! Several vegan options, ALL delicious btw!! Friendly staff! Great and knowledgeable owner! Excellent prices and amazing vegan cookies & cupcakes! They are always slammed here so be prepared to wait 30-45 min for your order every time. Calling ahead of time is your best bet.

Just a warning if you have been a customer a long time like I have. This establishment has been bought by someone else, and Lord knows I can definitely tell the NEGATIVE difference. I usually order the turkey burger. It use to be juicy, delicious, and full of flavor, but NOT anymore. I promise it tastes like it came out of the frozen section somewhere. It is not made out of ground turkey anymore, and oh my goodness, don't let me get started on how awful the fries were that we ordered! They were old, stale, hard, and very much overcooked. The guy I complained to didn't seem concerned much at all. He was nonchalant about it, really. I was totally shocked and disappointed today. We wasted money on lunch, but never again - at least NOT at Cool Al's. See the pictures I have posted. Thanks

Cool Al's always delivers delicious food! I only get to Jackson once or twice a year, but I always make sure to stop by Cool Al's. Its a vegan/vegetarian comfort food paradise! We've been going since veggie burgers were the only choice, now there are so many additions to the menu its hard to decide what to get. But no matter what, its never disappointing. Those curly fries - oh man, soooo good! When you get a flavor added to the fries its not like other restaurants where you'll get a few dots on half the fries. When you want flavor, Cool Al's gives you flavor! Vegan Philly cheese 'steak' was my newest try and I ate it in under two minutes it was so tasty. Make sure you try the Cool Al sauce! Can't wait to go back!

Decided to come here with a friend that swears by Cool Al's burgers. Before going here, decided to check out the menu. The menu on Google is not the right one. You have to go to the actual website to see what's the updated version. Staff was somewhat helpful with taking orders over the phone but they appear to be very impatient, as it was my first time ordering off their menu and I do have dietary restrictions. I ordered the Caribbean curry vegetarian burger with fried jalapenos and the Sinbad turkey burger with kwames Cajun battered fries. We were told to get the order in fifteen minutes, but it took an additional thirty minutes to get our meal. It is a busy spot. The food was fresh and hot. Personally I don't like when the burger patty is larger than the bun. You have options between white and wheat. The carribean burger was seasoned nicely but it kept falling apart and needed more sauce on it because it was dry. The fried jalapenos were good. According to my friend, the Sinbad burger was delicious. Fries were tasty. I do think the quality could be a little better. May give it another shot and try other options off the menu.

I've been here multiple times and it's always good! Sometimes I do have to wait a while, but it's worth it because the food is always fresh! The only thing I don't like is once they were out of some of the things that come on the burger and instead of telling me they just gave it to me without it. Oh and the time I ordered chilli and they put it in a box and called themselves making a bowl out of aluminum foil.
