The smoked chicken and the beef brisket were delicious. They were flavorful and moist. I plan to return.

Today, my husband and i decided to try the hickory pit. We went in and asked about the faves and let them know it was our first time there. They were very enthusiastic about the faves. I was told the pulled sandwiches were what most people ordered so i ordered the beef with baked beans and coleslaw and my husband ordered the double burger. We later realized that the burger didnt come with anything. we also ordered pulled pork nachos since we wanted to try those too. the food came out quick but the beef was dry and and the slaw on top was drier. the sides were very lackluster with the coleslaw being warm. the nachos were nothing that you would ever think would come out with nachos. the pork was dry and crispy and the cheese was just melted shredded cheese that had all the chips stuck together. the barbecue sauce, if thats what you would call it was super watery and sweet. The only thing that i found to be any good was the tea. Was DEFINITELY not worth the over 30 DOLLARS that we paid. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND BYPASS THE PIT!!!

Their pulled pork is great but they put some secret sauce in their baked beans. I love their bbq. Very flavorful and locally owned. Prices are higher than some BBQ places but you do get a quality meal. Probably the best BBQ in town that I have tried. Much better bbq than Pig and Pint, hands down.

If you like plain over charged nachos when you asked for bbq and hair in your food definitely the place to go. Also who puts freakin lettuce and avocados on bbq nachos 🤢

Taste was mediocre at best and they’re way out of the price range for the cheap quality of food they sell. Two different kinds of meat and both were full of fat and gristle. Won’t be back…even if it was paid for.

The outside of this place doesn’t look that good and the inside just looks alright. I think the look overall could use some work, food was great tho, it tasted good, at first I thought it was a little pricey when I saw how much food it was, but I guess when you add the desert it was worth it. So I guess overall it was good, although it could look a little better honestly.
